A guide to your first visit

We are excited that you are considering visiting Galloway Apostolic Church. We know that first visits to a strange place can sometimes make you apprehensive, even intimidated at times. We want to dispel any reservations you might have before you come by informing you as much as we can, so that you can come, relax and worship Christ. We have listed some frequently asked questions below to hopefully answer everything you will want to know about your first visit to Galloway Apostolic Church.

Where do I park?

There is limited parking next to the church. This space is reserved for our elderly and disabled guests. In front of the church there is also limited parking on the street. The main parking is in the lot behind the old school house next to the church. There is additional parking in the grass field behind the parking lot.

How should I dress?

As a visitor, you shouldn't worry about what you wear to our services.  You are welcome to our church in whatever you feel comfortable wearing.  However, if you are conscious of what you are wearing compared to others, we certainly don't want that to be a distraction for you.  On Sunday morning services, most of our congregation wears "Sunday Best" clothing...ties and slacks for men, dresses for women.  Wednesdays are a little more casual...slacks or jeans for men, skirts for women.  We are not concerned with what you wear.  It's only important to us that you feel comfortable.
What should I bring?
The Bible tells us that we should come with thankfulness and with praise for God (*).  If you have a Bible, you should bring it so that you may follow along with the preaching or teaching.  If you do not have a Bible though, there are some available to be used during service.  Bring your family too, we'd love to meet them!
Where should I sit?
Upon entering the church, either from the front main door or the back "easy-access" door, you will be met by one of our friendly greeters.  Our greeters will be able to help you find a seat, and should be able to assist you with any questions you have at the time.
